What is it with liberal talk show hosts? Why does everything seem to be a joke with them, yet they speak so intensely that the joke doesn't seem funny? Why do they maintain that everyone else is either a moron or a Nazi?

Touche...

I really don't listen to Air America too often.

I will say that I like Marc Maron & Mark Riley in the mornings. Those guys are actually pretty funny.

Al Franken is a bad radio host.

Randi Rhodes I could take or leave.

Ed Schultz is probably the best of the bunch.

Janeane Garofalo needs to get her sense of humor back from whomever stole it.

Jerry Springer is Jerry Springer...

Confession time: yesterday and today I was not referring to real liberals or conservatives--I was referring to the wing-nuts from both wings who pass themselves off as liberals or conservatives and therefore give those groups a bad name.

I find it interesting that you mentioned Hannity yesterday and Rhodes today. Those two extremists are precisely to whom I was referring. They make a lot of noise, and swing a lot of people with their spin, and succeed, not in building a stronger country, but in polarizing and dividing the population.

I'm reminded of a quote by John Ruskin: "There is nothing in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and he who considers price only is that man's lawful prey."

To that we have the phrase caveat emptor. Perhaps we should consider making caveat auscultator popular in its place.
