Wulfie's Wurld

An island of questions in a sea of confusion.

Remember back shortly after 9/11 when many were calling for the head of Osama bin Laden? Granted, it was a feel good, warm and fuzzy emotional response, but was it wise? Would blowing him away on site be equivalent to blowing Saddam Hussein away on site? Don't the Iraqi people need to come to closure on this? Don't we need some kind of closure ourselves? Wouldn't it do us and the world good to see him on trial for the psychopathic criminal he is, and not some holy man? Where is he now, by the way?

Comments:
Where is he now, by the way?

Ask Bush...Nah, don't bother...

I'd rather see him brought to trial myself.

Blowing him away doesn't prove anything.

This is really the kind of response that pseudo-tough-guys put out there to make themselves feel more manly while not doing a damn thing to help the situation themselves...

Ask Bush...Nah, don't bother...

He may not know. Or, since the bogeyman in the closet is scarier than reality, perhaps there'll still be some nice color-condition yo-yo-age for the 2006 elections.

But what do we expect from someone who misspelled "Iran" by a single letter a few years back.

It's like the story of the Tsar and Lieutenant Kije.
